          Gender and culture Emo is a trend that often promotes hypersensitivity. Emo is something easy to define. As such, finding roots is difficult. Many purported "known" quotes scene DC hardcore punk - and specifically the band Rites of Spring - the founders of Emo, but history shows it's foolish to put a gender training on behalf of certain bands.
          A review of musical scenes from the late 80s and early 90s allow better determination of the roots and influences underlying the emo subculture which continue to influence. before they understand where it comes from "emo" should understand what it is today. "I prefer to think of it (emotions) as a punk rock song and is more introspective / depressing than hardcore, but still with the trends of primary energy and anger" (DeRogatis 1). 
           This kind of music has created a culture most advanced culture and has since evolved continuously from early 90s. Most children look like the following: wears glasses with black frame, long dark scarves. It's easy to stereotype an emo kid, though, ironically, can not define emo music. The best way to describe emo music is by arpegiile light of guitars with vocals that are easy to dismiss in an orchestra of guitars distorted and then brought back to the light. Emo lyrics are very poetic and generally have a range from lost love to religious beliefs or other emotional issues. However, nowadays emo covers a wide variety of bands, the light of the songs from "American Football" to the hard songs from "At the Drive In.
           How can a genre so comprehensive to be bound by something? The problem is that what one person defines as emo music is not necessarily in accordance with the following definition, everything is subject to perspectivism. Jason Gnewikow from "The Promise Ring said" I could validate the point that we are an emo band but I could go on the other side and to invalidate. It all depends on who you ask and perception about it "(DeRogatis 3) .
Face perception comes from the band Sunny Day Real Estate ", published in Seattle in 1992. Sunny Day Real Estate (SDRE) hardcore roots combined with melodic vocals and a sense "sunrise".    Launching in 1994 the album "Diary" would forever change the emo scene. No true musician wants to be labeled or put in a certain drawer, and therefore, some bands will stereotype "emo". The fact is that the underground scene / indie evolves even within some different genres, the other labeling and other subcultures.
           To follow this evolution, we must look at scenes and genres that have contributed to the evolution of general emo's. While some bands are becoming more popular, other great artists are overlooked. It is important to focus on groups most influential artists to reach a consensus.
           There are too many bands that influenced the emo genre, but, looking at the main artists of some sort, anyone can have an overview of the state that is in like that at some point.
           Rites of Spring and Sunny Day Real Estate have kicked off the genre emo. They were two of the most influential bands in the evolution of the genre emo.
           Emo, synthesis of several genres and styles performing came at the time and place. Many bands have had to conceive bridge for artists "underground" can be heard.
